Education & Career Development

As part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America strategy "Every Member, Every Year."  The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley works to partner with youth, parents, schools and other community stakeholders to implement strategies in academic enrichment and school engagement. Our aim is to ensure that all Club members graduate from high school on time, ready for a post-secondary education and a 21st-century career.

Character & Leadership

Helping youth become responsible, caring citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making, contributing to Club and community and celebrating our national heritage.

Healthy Lifestyles

The purpose of the Sports, Fitness and Recreation area is to help members develop daily fitness regimens, make positive uses of leisure time, reduce stress appreciate the environment, and improve social and interpersonal skills.

Job Description:

There are many opportunities to volunteer with the BGCCV by sharing your time and talents. If you are interested in volunteering and depending on your desired involvement there are several choices: Arts, Education and PowerHour (daily homework time), Healthy Lifestyles (physical activities indoors/outdoors), Teen Center and general time mentoring young children.

Volunteers at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley get the training and support they need to be a successful part of our clubs and the lives of our members.

Requirements:

We require a background check as well as have requirements for dress in the Clubs.

Hours:

2pm-7pm During School (Aug-June)

7am-6pm Summer (July-Aug)
