Servant Leadership

Class of 2005

Tara Brady Thompson
William and I married on July 16, 2005. Then, we spent a week in Jamaica for our honeymoon. Now, we are living in Buena Vista, GA. I am teaching Spanish at Tri-County High School. I am also the assistant cheerleading coach there. I really enjoyed being married and teaching. William is VERY supportive, and my kids WANT to learn. I am truly blessed.

Cathleen Kirkland Heider
I am currently teaching 2nd and 3rd grades at North Columbus Elementary School. This is my 5th year teaching. In 2005, I graduated from CSU. I continued my education by getting a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership in 2006 and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership in 2007. During my 1st year teaching I was named "Muscogee County 1st year Teacher of the Year." I am currently in Muscogee County's Aspiring Leadership Program. I married my best friend, Ryan Heider, in June 2008. We also bought a house the same year and built a pool that we love to spend time in. We have 2 puppies, Frank and Sammie, that keep us very busy. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends, take pictures, travel, and scrapbook.

Ben Thigpen
I am currently working at the Columbus Bank & Trust Uptown Center as a Credit Associate, and I'm training to be a Commercial Underwriter. I will be getting married on March 4th to Miss Carley Wood of Columbus, GA. I just bought a house, which was built in 1950, a few months ago, so I have been spending much of my time sanding, painting, planting, etc. I also became an uncle 10 weeks ago, and I was ordained as a Deacon of my church on my birthday two weeks ago! I'm very excited about what God is doing in my life!
