Program Information:

Established in 1986, Easter Seals provides therapeutic care to children with disabilities in Columbus, Georgia and the Chattahoochee Valley Area. Easter Seals has an extensive program for children providing developmentally appropriate activities in a structured learning environment.

Easter Seals also provides extended care for adolescents and adults past the typical “child care” years. School-aged adolescents receive quality after-school care and full-time summer care. Social interaction and daily living instruction in a loving, safe environment are essential components of the Easter Seals adult program.

Job Description:

Volunteers will help staff oversee and interact with children and/or adults with a disability, filing/office based work, building maintenance such as painting, cleaning and other special projects. 

Volunteers will engage with our participants through play and social interaction. Volunteers will also assist administration to organize Medicaid related paperwork and help  maintain a clean facility by painting, deep cleaning, or special projects such as pressure washing or laying wood chips. 


Must be 18 years or older
