We offer a variety of services to include counseling, parent skills training, legal advocacy, and assistance with housing.

Service:

We have many opportunities for students to develop programs with the women and / or the children. Some of these include:

  • Children's activities – all ages
  • Outings for children and mothers
  • Game night for children and /or mothers
  • Parenting training
  • Tutoring
  • Computer skills training for residents
  • Event planning
  • Marketing – brochures, newsletters, etc.
  • Holiday events
  • Crisis line operator

Males can volunteer; they just may not have as many opportunities. There are young teen boys in the shelter who could use the contact with a positive male role model.
