Program Information

Teen Challenge Southeast Region provides long-term residential care for adult men, women, and adolescents who are struggling with addiction and behavioral issues. Our curriculum is specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of program participants and is designed to address the life-controlling issues that led them to substance abuse. Teen Challenge Southeast Region manages Ambassadors of Compassion, a local leadership program that provides students with the hope, resiliency, and personal leadership skills to navigate life's inevitable challenges.
Volunteers will serve as Ambassadors of Compassion coaches and will lead small groups of students through the assigned curriculum of the program with an accompanying co-coach.

Job Description

Work with staff, school administrators, and other volunteers to implement the Ambassadors of Compassion program in the local school system.
Students will be able to develop leadership skills, learn how to work with a co-leader, enhance mentoring skills, and strengthen communication skills.


One hour training
The desire to see local youth succeed in life
Ability to commit to 15 weekly, one hour sessions
Ability to engage and relate to students from all walks of life.


Hours will vary depending on the location of the school, but will never exceed one hour, weekly time commitment.
